Craft, Sip, Chill, Repeat

The Sip & Stitch Society is a casual craft club based in Sonoma County. We meet twice a month at local cafés and community spots to work on creative projects, share ideas, and connect in person. No pressure and no experience required. All ages and all crafts are welcome.

Stitch Happens

Sip & Stitch began in late 2024 when two longtime friends Natalia and Trina, started meeting at local cafés around Sonoma County to work on their latest craft project and catch up. Soon, they started wondering, are there others out there looking for a cozy space for creativity, conversation, and community too?

In January 2025, they hosted the first meetup, and it quickly became clear: others were looking for the same thing. Since then, they’ve been meeting twice a month.

Co-Founder

Hi, I’m Natalia. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa and have spent most of my life living here. I didn’t grow up thinking I was particularly creative or artistic, often more drawn to science and books, but that changed when I started learning embroidery and crochet in 2020. What started as a way to unwind and unmasked, quickly grew into a favorite pastime. Starting Sip & Stitch Society with Trina has allowed me to learn more about my creative side, further explore Sonoma County, and meet new friends along the way.

Keeping it Low-key & Local

The Sip & Stitch Society is more than just a craft club, it is also a fun way to explore the community. By meeting at different local cafés and creative spaces, members get the chance to discover new favorite spots while supporting small businesses.

Creative Crafting Community

Each meetup offers a welcoming environment to connect with fellow makers, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Whether someone is new to the area or a longtime local, the club is a great way to build creative friendships and stay inspired.

Hi, I’m Trina. I grew up in Sonoma County, then did what many of us do, I left for school and travel. When I moved back during the pandemic, I reconnected with my old school friend Natalia, and began crafting again. I’ve always loved crafting—paint, yarn, thread, glue, you name it— but sometimes I found it difficult to keep myself motivated and inspired. So, starting Sip & Stitch felt like the perfect way to bring that love back and to share it with others in the community.
